Vermont's biggest newspaper, The Burlington Free Press, has covered 9/11 on its front page!
A Burlington, Vermont group has gathered more than 1,200 of the 1,350 signatures needed to place a new investigation
of 9/11 on the ballot.

Marvin Bush & Larry Silverstein

George W. Bush's brother was on the board of directors of a company providing electronic security for the World Trade Center, Dulles International Airport and United Airlines, according to public records. The company was backed by an investment firm, the Kuwait-American Corp., also linked for years to the Bush family.

The security company, formerly named Securacom and now named Stratesec, is in Sterling, Va.. Its CEO, Barry McDaniel, said the company had a ``completion contract" to handle some of the security at the World Trade Center ``up to the day the buildings fell down."

A PBS documentary about the 9/11/01 attack, America Rebuilds, features an interview with the leaseholder of the destroyed WTC complex, Larry Silverstein. In it, the elderly developer makes the following statement:
"I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it. And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."

This statement seems to suggest that the FDNY decided to demolish the building in accordance with Silverstein's suggestion, since the phrase "pull it" in this context seems to mean to demolish the building. At least that interpretation appears to be supported by a statement by a Ground Zero worker in the same documentary:

Jamie Gorelick slips up and talks about a "missile" hitting the Pentagon near the end of this episode of Guns and Butter - a Freudian slip she made during the Ommission hearings.

A couple of other Freudian slips in this show too......John Lehman talking about the attack on the Cole says it took them a few months to "create" the evidence,and Sandy Berger says Clinton could have bombed the terror training camps in Afghanistan but all that would have achieved would have been to kill a few "CIA".....OOPS!

We all have to take seriously Webster Tarpley's idea to....

.....inundate New Hampshire (right next door to Vermont) with 9/11 Truthers prior to and during the '08 primary there. NH's small size allows for very personal, upfront encounters/connections with candidates and the citizens voting in that state's primary...

We need to to start preparing for that now.....

OFF TOPIC: What are .ogg files?

What are .ogg files?

I use to enjoy listening to THE ALEX JONES SHOW via download from this site:

The last two day's worth of files are in .ogg format. I can't get these to play using Windows Media Player or play them on my mp3 player.

If anyone knows what's up with .ogg files, please advise.

If you are a Windows user who wants to be able to listen to .ogg files in Windows Media Player, then this is what you want. Illiminable's DirectShow filters support playing of files encoded with Vorbis, Speex, Theora, and/or FLAC.

Make sure to uninstall any previous versions (remove "oggcodecs" from Add/Remove Programs), and make sure Windows Media Player (or any other DirectShow application) is closed before installing.

true - very few consumer

true - very few consumer electronic firms are cozy with OSS (with the exception of linux)

If you need to convert ogg files to mp3s you could always get the LAME codec which creates mp3s without the use of the fraunhaeffer (sp?) patent issues that go allong with traditional mp3s...

point is, you can convert ogg files to mp3s using FREE (as in liberty) tools...

Funny that the open source movement amongst the computer /software industry has been fighting the same forces - Overreaching corporations verses the publics right to do what they want...

Off topic FYI: Site meter back on upswing

After a huge surge leading up to the September 2006 5th anniversary, 9/11 Blogger's Site Meter "visits by month" took a noteworthy 2-month nose-dive. But now December registered back on the upswing. Though, even the recent dipped level of November 2006 was a lot higher than the first half of the year.

I consider the Site Meter as an indication of the overall general interest in the movement.

Very good observation...

I would think that the drop in Novermber goes along with those that think the Democrats wins in the House/Senate are going to amount to progress for Truth.

We need to expose the frauds that control the Democratic Party as well. These people need to be pressured or grouped with the other politicians who are complicit.

2007 will be a watershed year for 9/11 Truth... That much is certain...

What's wrong with the MSM...

I read this post proudly knowing once again that the tipping point is upon us. But I still feel there are pockets of truth around this country that have yet to fully manifest. Let's think back to Kevin Barrett's interview with O'Reilly. Remember how O'Reilly was drilling the idea that the mainstream media would have made a big deal if it was true? There's the flaw. On any other day, O'Reilly would have bashed the mainstream media for having a "liberal bias." But on that day, Bill's silly conclusion (and unfortunately, many of his loyal viewers) was to claim that 9/11 Truth is conspiracy hogwash because if it had any merit to it, the mainstream media would cover it as front page news. If anyone is to use Bill's argument, then ask them whenever has the mainstream media been trusted? Can they truly cover anything that is so complicated as the dubious nature of 9/11, and the many unanswered questions we have posed in forums liek this one?

(If you're seeing it for the 1st time, pass it on to everyone and anyone who has a soul and cares about the real heroes of 9/11)

David Miller is a first responder who said that the Mt. Sinai study from a few months ago was their prayer answered. It revealed the drastic and horrific reality of the thousands of people affflicted with the lied-about air quality at ground zero.

And yet David Miller regretted to tell us that the main stream media favored strories of Tom Cruise's wedding and Paris Hilton's drunkeness over the illness and death that has resulted from the government's lie about ground zero air quality.

The media can be blamed. But we also must think about how the media is driven. Market forces dictate what goes on the front page to a large degree. Ratings and commericalism dictate what will be the headline story in the evening news. The MSM can never get into any truly scholarly analysis of 9/11 since it would take a significant amount of time. It requires critical thinking skills. Unless they have someone who can break it down into tidy soundbites, it will forever take the back seat to celebrity meltdowns. However, we can act as that market force that will drive them to cover it.

The Burlington VT headline proves this. It's not a big town. But the 1200 signatures cited is siginificant for them - and for their markets.

Now consider the larger media markets. What if the mainstream media was flooded with the "demand" for 9/11 truth stories? The Kevin Barrett interview I mentioned before was the last segment on the Factor that evening. Someone at Fox must know they had to keep us glued to the set all that time. This is the silent story that is gaining momentum.

We can expect to see more of these strories surfacing in the new year. More and more it is shedding the old frame of "conspiracy theory." It's finally being framed as a story about activism and accountability.

Keep in mind that there are still people out there who couldn't tell you who the vice president is. Or how to point Iraq on a global map. So it will take time.

Keep pressuring the media outlets to cover 9/11 truth. Write to them. They will catch on. The tipping point is upon us as I said. Use these links at your pleasure:

O'Reilly's point is that...

the "liberal media" would not waste an opportunity to bash bush, if there were any truth to 9/11 being an inside job.

but we know 9/11 isn't all about bush, or any one person. we know that our puppet government was either following orders or stepping out of the way.

We know this, and o'reilly may even know this, but like every other issue, he must make it follow the fake left/right paradigm.

I could not agree more! The fact is Fox News isn't conservative.... it's a borderline fascist propaganda machine. It's NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. that are relatively conservative. The liberal myth is a serious problem.

The fundemental truth behind

The fundemental truth behind all of this is that the very system itself is a lie. A diametrically opposed framework of false paradigms. The System itself is a facade to keep us, the citizenry trapped in a gilded cage.

9/11 is a symptom of the disease, the Oligarchy that controls the globe, and is acting to take over the last remaining corners that are resisting.

It had nothing to do with “liberals,” or the cultural myth portrayed by Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward in the role of “investigative journalists,” but had everything to do with dumping Nixon, an embarrassing and recalcitrant criminal, a liability for our rulers. It should be noted that Bob Woodward is a former military intelligence officer and the Washington Post, under publisher Phil Graham and managing editor Alfred Friendly, was a CIA asset attached to Operation Mockingbird.

It's Monday-morning quarterbacking, but...

....I wish Kevin Barrett (on O'Lielly's show) had pointed that out, the falseness of the premise that there is a, quote, "liberal media", unquote, to expose the Inside Job that was 9/11.

Unfortunately, they dont give Kevin the questions in advance.

And, the real purpose of that appearance was to mock Kevin for being vulnerable to pressures put on the Univ. of Wisconsin's administration. Sending a message....
