But personally, I think we don't really need any kind of unanimity from researchers beyond the unanimity that we already have over the fact that these buildings did not collapse randomly from plane crashes and fires ... and I don't think this is doing any permanent harm to the 9/11 movement and I think people who are blowing it up into something really huge are either sort of panicking or just making a tactical mistake. I think we need to let to the researchers do their research we need to keeping harping on what we know, which is that the official story is a big lie.

Kevin: I think that's a very good point, Sophia, and I've tried to make that point too with people who are really sort of allergic to the idea that some kind of unconventional technology might have been used. And my point would be: Given that this was obviously an inside job from the very top of the US command structure, even though it was probably highly compartmentalized and didn't involve a huge number of people, it would have taken advantage of the most advancement technologies of deception and demolition, and in fact they would have arranged it in such a way that anyone who figured out exactly what happened and described it accurately would sound completely insane. So, I wouldn't rule out anything and I think we need to allow researchers to pursue their own path, and we need to criticize each other in a hopefully amicable manner and we activists need to keep going with what we've got.

Almost sounds to me as if Kevin supports the free exchange of ideas and open research/debate.

I don't disagree with Kevin in regards to permanent harm to the movement. The fact that we were lied to, and that there is a MASSIVE cover-up speaks for itself, and nothing Jim Fetzer, Judy Wood, Morgan Reynolds, etc... put forward will permanently harm this movement. However, what they are doing is slowing down the process, and that is unacceptable. They promote nonsense publicly at a time when the media is our biggest adversary, and attack other individuals for not agreeing with their outlandish theories, and ultimately take time away from what we're trying to accomplish. Again, that is unacceptable. I, nor anyone else want to be doing this for the rest of our lives. We activists need to keep going with what we've got, because what we've got is ENOUGH for what we're asking for. A new investigation into the attacks of 9/11.

and could maybe use a refresher course in the scientific method. I'm a Humanities person, too, and I think one of Professor Jones' substantial contribution has been in carefully delineating just what the scientific method is, in terms that even us Humanities people can readily grasp.

If you are someone with a "voice" in the 9/11 Truth Movement, you do not promote publicly information that might be considered "crazy" in the public view because the media has spent the last 5 years painting us as "crazy", and we DO NOT need to prove them right.

However, that is my opinion. One which I am entitled to.

I am surprised you haven't realized that the media is always our biggest enemy and perhaps our only true enemy remaining. They are number one, in your face, selling the lie to the public everyday. Ask yourself, what independant authority are you going to appeal to for this 'new' investigation? What media is then going to convince you of the vality of the new independant investigation results? Taking all the movement's energy, wrapping it up, and throwing it down at the feet of another body of authority for analysis doesn't sound too fruitful to me.
