Inspired by the original concept to publicly reject the 9/11 Commission's Final Report in Boston, San Francisco has joined in, and now at least five other cities are holding joint events to show solidarity.
On the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party - Saturday December 16th, there will be a mock shredding of the 9/11 Commission Report in Lafayette Park in Washington, DC from 11am-12pm.

Washington, DC, Dec. 11, 2006--DC911Truth patriots are planning a mock shredding of the 9/11 Commission Report on Saturday, December 16, in Lafayette Park, in front of the White House, from 11:00 am to Noon. The group is outraged by the Report's whitewash and lack of investigation into one of the greatest criminal acts on American soil. After each lie in the Report is read out, it will be fed into a giant "shredder" as a fitting disposal of its findings. The event will feature several speakers, including Webster Tarpley and other local 9/11 truth activists.
This event is one of a series of events sponsored by 9/11 truth groups across the country, on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Related events are planned in Boston, San Francisco, Milwaukee, and St. Louis.
The discredited 9/11 myth, based on the Kean-Hamilton report, is rapidly emerging as the only argument remaining to the diehard neocon proponents for continuing the futile and hopeless war in Iraq. DC911Truth will urge the new Congress to reject the 9/11 Commission findings and requests that they not adopt any of the recommendations contained in that fraudulent report, which noted theologian David Ray Griffin has called the "571-page lie."
On December 16, 1773 the Sons of Liberty said "No!" to lack of representation and tyranny by tossing crates of British tea into Boston Harbor. On Saturday, Dec. 16, modern patriots in the 9/11 truth movement will say "No!" to creeping police state totalitarianism, by shredding its excuse, the 9/11 Commission Report.

Milwaukee will be holding a coinciding event;
We will meet up at (1:00 PM) the east end of Wisconsin Avenue and walk to the front of War Memorial Center (1 block north) and give our respects for those soldiers that have given their life for our country. We then take a walk down the bridge to the lakefront. We will barbecue the 9/11 Commission Report right in the open park at the bottom of the bridge. We will then throw the ashes of the 9/11 Commission Report into Lake Michigan. There will be free hot dogs, ice tea or hot green tea. We will also have free 9/11 Truth DVD's. A speakers podium will be available for anyone that wants to take a stand and speak up for 9/11 Truth.

i wish i could but to be honest its not likely. not to get too into my personal life, but i have a lot of health problems right now(lung problems and a hernia that has needed surgery for like 3 years that is currently twisting my intestines like a knot among other things) that sometimes keep me from traveling(it doesnt help that i dont own a car) and i actually ended up in the emergency room again this past weekend. believe me, im still kicking myself for not being able to show up at ground zero on the anniversary. im already starting to feel better though, so who knows? theres really no way for me to know how im going to feel day to day at this point in my life.

We showed 9/11: Press for Truth on Sept 10 at Cinemagic and there is a group that meets weekly at Laughing Horse Books, that I'm at every week, which has existed for 2-3 years. Right now the activists are at war with the video watchers, but we're going to get it sorted out. You can always PM me if you want more info.

Make sure to pick up the paper that hits the water and bring to the public's attention;

2. when will the main stream media clean up a century worth of their toxic, criminal carcinogenic waste, they deposited in the local metropolitan landfills, free of charge?
Better than 20% of the space in our local landfills are newspaper. This isn't so bad on face, except our waste disposal bill keeps going up.
What is serious though is the toxic time bomb the newspapers are responsible for regarding their disposal of heavy metal ink.
The landfills are chock full of heavy metal carcinogen's leaching into the underground aquifer. These criminal polluters have put their cancer into the local landfills for over a century, without cost, and without concern of being made to clean it up.

Of course, this serious ecological public danger according to the collusion press, is perfectly safe and is not news, as they reach for a bottle of French sparkling spring water.

I saw it last night.... I thought it was a great portrail of the brutality and decline of the Myan civilization.
Will the majority of the people who see this film be able to relate this to modern civilization? Not likely unless someone spells it all out for them. It is a huge leap of thought to be able to grasp the links in this film to our current path. I'm afraid this film will not affect people in that manner.
People for the most part understood "The Passion of the Christ"...... I think Apocalypto will go over their heads.
For a person like myself who has studied Mayan civilization in some detail..... and for many of us who have altered our consciousness and have taken a peak behind the curtain.... I beieve we will get more from this film..... for many others, I fell they will find themselves a bit lost in the film.... it is an intense and brutal film... with alot of blood and reality.... in much the same manner as "The Passion".
I would be very selective as to whom I'd reccomend this film.... unless someone was there to help provide some cliff notes.

I'm responding to Jones' hyperbolic endorsement. Greatest film director EVER? Do you really think that, too? Whatever one thinks of Apocalypto, it won't make Mel Gibson the greatest filmmaker ever.

1. Gibson isn't born again. He's a Roman Catholic. Very big difference.
2. I have yet to see Jones try to proselytize anyone in his videos. He sticks to his Libertarian politics in that way.
3. The evidence that Jones provides showing world leaders engaging in occult rituals only puts a real face to what Kubric alluded to in Eyes wide shut.
4. The nexus between these occult practices, and the planning for a one world government with what the Bible discusses concerning the end times is quite compelling.
5. I think the accolades are overstated.
Apocalypto was an enjoyable movie with some nice metaphors and..
symbolism.

Passion of the Mel
Gibson's medieval form of Roman Catholicism is just as dangerous as any born again Protestantism. He's just as primitive in his thinking, and his Passion of the Mel stirs up the kind of zealotry that this world does not need. Religious superstition is religious superstition, no matter the form.
Alex Jones doesn't overtly proselytize, but his videos are filled with warnings that the United Nations is trying to destroy the family, and the American government is trying to destroy the family by targeting Christians as terrorists, and on and on he goes. It's obvious the kind of audience he is speaking to, and it's an audience of hardcore Christian zealots who think they are being persecuted in a country that provides national holidays on Christian feasts (feasts borrowed from pagans, of course).
I think it's fine that Jones attacks monsters like the Bush family crime syndicate; but I don't share his belief that Christians are being persecuted. "Human beings" are persecuted by the rich and powerful. If anything, Christians have been a bigger part of the problem than the solution.

The US Congress ran out of time to discuss the bill in the current session and, when a new Democratic Congress comes back from its holidays, the bill is unlikely to get a sympathetic hearing.
The presentation of the bill did manage to amuse most of the technological community as Stevens presented the Internet as a series of tubes and pipes which would get blocked if the bill never went ahead.
Eli Pariser, executive director of MoveOn.org Civic Action, said the death of the bill was a huge victory for "real people".
