Janette MacKinley lived across the street from the WTC complex and witnessed the destruction of the south tower. She spoke at the Lifting The Fog conference at UC Berkeley about 9/11 truth and the power of grassroots activism.

Accountability has to start somewhere and tragic as it is, first responders may be our last real hope in the form of littigation.

Admit that you were strongarmed, threatened, whatever into playing along and we will defend you in the court of public opinion. I gave a copy of 911 Mysteries to Jason, the first repsonder in the video above - he said he planned to share it with his fellow firefighters. I also gave a copy of the same dvd to my cousin - who is a firefighter as well - on Thanksgiving.

None of us can overestimate the importance of making firefighters and other first responders aware of the truth. At the same time, they of all people need to come to the truth in a way that works for them and that respects the memory of their fallen colleagues. How heartening is it to come home from a few hours of good truthing in Harvard Square to this. Gave out about 40 copies of 9/11 Mysteries in about two hours. A few people also took buttons and some put them on right there on the spot. Things are picking up big time, folks--it's almost here...

Things are definitely picking up and we'll just keep kicking it up a notch or two every day. Another anecdote involving 911 Mysteries: I work in a community center and last week I gave a copy to a guy who comes in fairly regularly. I've given out a lot of those and other dvds and flyers at work, but I'd never talked to this guy about 9/11 and I didn't even tell him what the dvd was - I just handed it to him and told him to watch it. He came back two days later, very enthusiastically thanking me for the video and asking if it was OK for him to make copies of it and pass them out.
I'm inspired to up the outreach to firefighters and police. I'm going to make a cover letter and packets with copies of dvds of Demolitions, Press For Truth and the First Responders event from the 5th anniversary and start delivering them to individual firehouses and copshops around the city.

and on my broadband where I watch alot of google vids without problem, this video sat there buffering for several mins before even beginning, then the data transfer rate was so slow, I had to pause it, and it loaded about 10 mins worth over the next HOUR, and then just stopped transfering.
Is this google's new approach to stiffling 911 truth vids? make them de facto unwatchable, while not being "guilty of censorship of ideas"??

Stop Relying on Google
People need to stop relying on Google for the long term.
If Google Video was pulled (remember it's a beta) then most video references would be useless.
Some 911 sites host their own vids - Start saving 911 vids from Google Video if at least not hosting them.
Putting all of your eggs in the Google Basket is not so sensible.
Remember to keep sharing and downloading 911 Vids via P2P also. There are many people doing so and it keeps the vids going.
If Google is pulled - P2P might be the only legal way to have video online on the internet because it might become necessary to have a video license in order to host or upload your own vids.

Ya, but the problem is...
...that we don't know for sure what the "truth" is. We only know what it isn't (the official 9/11 fairy tale).
It's gonna be all too easy for the real perps to entice a bunch of angry, indignant, yahoos to go off half cocked, and set them on the trail of the wrong people. And how will we prevent this?
It's easy to say "let's all do something", but I still want to know what the hell that "something" is.

People have had their heads messed up by this war..... by 9/11.... they wether they know it or not have curled up in the safety of their shells.... they are less open to new people... they are always questioning the people they meet or see on the street.... led to judge before there is anything to judge.
this has affected the psychology of America.... and it affects most those who are outgoing and carefree.... Did Michael Richards react in the wrong manner? YES.
He reacted and went stright for the jugular.... the thing that he thought would hurt those guys the most... that or the thing that may sit in the deepest part of his psyche.. Things that are a result of the war on terror.... Hate
People wether they want to believe it or not have been infiltraited by fear.... which leads to so many other things..... one of which is hate.... which leads to violence and quick judgement... and reactions that are just as quick.
If you have a pre determined hate... reactions are quicly and easily justified in your mind
the more we judge people... the easier it is.... to hate
this has driven a wedge into the brotherhood of America and the world.
Just another reason we need to defeat this notion of terrorism..... which could be perpetraited by who knows who..... it's time that the world knows who so we can stop questioning everyone we see.

I can't imagine what it has been like living across from the crime scene. Even three years later, I could smell the stench of death, lividly. Even the tiniest bits of this dust lodged into the back of my throat like so many caustic darkroom bromides, sulfides and sulfates.
To the South stood a row of brownstones, oddly out of place, like a Western movie set on the back lot, as the gurrrrring sounds of cranes and earth scavengers were unearthing body parts, indistinguishable from the wreckage.
And above these sounds and smells a huge lone banner hung from one such property, boldly pronouncing a call for TRUTH!
Here, I handed out 200 brochures for Jimmy Walter's: "Confronting the Evidence," to an endless stream of warmly familiar and concerned foreigners, as nearly all of the Americans turned a cold shoulder to the very prospect of acknowledging anything but the official BushCo party line.

Off-topic thought.
First of all, if anyone knows about discussion threads/message boards/chat rooms on the web where I can discuss my ideas about 9.11, please let me know! I have found 911blogger to be an excellent source of information and news but it not the best forum per se. Any recommendations will be scrutinized of course! I was reading Tarpley's book and thinking about the 1993 bombing of the WTC when a thought came to my mind. I don't think Tarpley thought of this--- who was in charge of rebuilding the basement of the WTC after the first attack? This may be the key to controlled demolition. If there were any conspirators involved in the reconstruction, they could have easily planned explosives - literally built them into the concrete. In controlled demolition, you have to gut the basement so the building falls into itself, as was the case with the Twin Towers. This may explain the explosions seen coming from the ground BEFORE the Towers fell. It may also explain the explosions that William Rodriguez described coming from the basement. This brought to mind a book I read called "By Way of Deception" by a former Mossad-operative who was disilussioned and wrote a tell-all book. He described how Israeli intelligence would have moles in major construction companies working on building projects in their neighboring countries. Major bridges for instance would be compromised by built-in explosives set by their operatives. They actually built bombs into their enemies countries. That was how far Mossad was willing to go to protect Israel. One wonders how far right-wing Israelis and their friends in the US will go to protect Israel. I'd say: pretty far.

I'm not up to the trouble myself, but the two best I've found were Democratic Underground, and IndyMedia Portland. Both filter content on occassion. To learn about the contra-911-contra, try Team8+, (but don't tell these guys I sent you there!)
CDI is guilty from the get-go, since I was made aware of their submittal to do a traditional demo, back in 1987. The architects fully disbanded, just days after the '93 faux-attack. Even this was a 'warning' to those involved; like Skillings & Roth, et. all. To let CDI do the '01 clean-up, is akin sending one's children to the "Johnny Gosh School for Cute Boys, Inc."
