Nice. The only problem is that Mr. Berg has not been William's lawyer for about two years.

In the film Zero: 9/11, the producers also made a mistake by billing Mr. Berg as William's lawyer as well. When William was interviewed for the film, he was not advised that Mr. Berg was being billed as such.

In recent days there is mounting evidence of the advance of totalitarianism in the political and media mainstream. The entire Western world, led by the United States, has embraced a Georgian regime, which invaded South Ossetia totally demolishing its capital city of 50,000 residents, assassinated 1500 men, women and children and dozens of Russian peace keepers. The US has mobilized a naval and air armada off the Iranian coast, prepared to annihilate a country of 70 million people. The New York Times published an essay by a prominent Israeli historian, which advocates the nuclear incineration of Iran. All the major mass media have mounted a systematic propaganda campaign against China, supporting each and every terrorist and separatist group, and whipping up public opinion in favor of launching a New Cold War. There is little doubt that this new wave of imperial aggression and bellicose rhetoric is meant to deflect domestic discontent and distract public opinion from the deepening economic crises.

The Financial Times (FT), once the liberal, enlightened voice of the financial elite (in contrast to the aggressively neo-conservative Wall Street Journal) has yielded to the totalitarian-militarist temptation. The feature article of the weekend supplement of August 16/17, 2008 – “The Face of 9/11” – embraces the forced confession of a 9/11 suspect elicited through 5 years of hideous torture in the confines of secret prisons. To make their case, the FT published a half-page blow-up photo first circulated by former CIA director George Tenet, which presents a bound, disheveled, dazed, hairy ape-like prisoner. The text of the writer, one Demetri Sevastopulo, admits as much: The FT owns up to being a propaganda vehicle for a CIA program to discredit the suspect while he stands trial based on confessions obtained through torture.

Hardball host mocks demonstrators

DENVER -- Around 100 activists convinced that the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 were perpetrated by dark and mysterious actors within the US government marched across the city Tuesday in a sanctioned protest that resulted in no confrontations with police.

Members of the so-called "9/11 Truth" movement gathered outside Denver's city hall proceeding to snake through cordoned off streets towards the Pepsi Center, where the Democratic National Convention is being held this week. Radio host Alex Jones, who runs the conspiracy theory Web site infowars.com and is a leader of the movement led demonstrators in chants of "9/11 was and inside job" and "Down with the New World Order."

Denver police on bicycles preceded the marchers through an empty street just outside of downtown. Few Democratic delegates saw the protesters as they marched -- a goal the parade route seemed designed to achieve.

Along with the activists, the march included a mock parade float. Labeled "God's Gitmo," it displayed protesters wearing masks depicting George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice, John McCain and Barack Obama locked up behind a chain-link fence.

U.S. attorney 'confident' Obama not threatened

AURORA — The U.S. Attorney for Colorado said authorities are "absolutely confident" three men arrested on weapons and drug charges posed no threat to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

Aurora Police held a news conference Monday to announce the arrests and said that during their investigation officers seized a bullet-proof vest, two rifles — one of which was stolen; another had a hunting scope — plus ammunition, drugs and walkie-talkies.

"We're aware of the matter discussed tonight by the Aurora Police Department," said Colorado U.S. Attorney Troy Eid in a statement late Monday night. "Federal law enforcement is working hand-in-glove with the Aurora Police Department. Because this matter is currently under investigation, there is little we can say right now.

This statement is a defense exhibit for use in an upcoming oral arguments hearing pertaining to a federal court case for records for the 4 aircraft used during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

CIVIC CENTER – Chanting “9/11 was an inside job!” protesters congregated here before hitting the parade route this afternoon, cameras in hand to document everything that happened and supply their live feed to those watching online.

Organized by We Are Change, the march brought calls of “9/11 truth now!” and signs calling for an investigation of the Sept. 11 attacks.

We Are Change has been filming protests this week in an effort to catch illegal action – whether by protesters or cops.

Luke Rudkowski, founder of We Are Change in New York, told the crowd it can’t rely on the mainstream media.

“We are the new media. We are the people. We are the change!” he shouted.

NIST'S WTC 7 technical briefing took place this morning. A number of good questions were asked, it seemed they came mostly from the 9/11-truth-seeking community. I asked (and these got through but were somewhat re-worded by the fellow "reading" the questions):

1. Did NIST have available to it samples of dust from the WTC catastrophe, and if so, did NIST examine the dust for red/gray chips as described by Dr. Steven Jones (physicist)? Note that over a dozen WTC-dust samples were examined by the US Geological Survey, and these were presumably available to NIST.

2. NIST discusses the fall time for WTC 7 on page 40 of their summary, where we find the significant assumption: "Assuming that the descent speed was approximately constant..." However, observations by Dr. Frank Legge and others of the descent speed shows that it is accelerating, not constant at all. Why did NIST assume "that the descent speed was approximately constant" when observation shows otherwise?

Derek, engineer member of "Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth", and Jason Bermas discuss the importance and "how to" in order to get air-time on TALK RADIO. Derek states: "Thursday, September 11th, is a call talk radio "bomb" day, but I am trying to get people in the habit of doing this once per week [or more!]."

Derek goes on to say: " The battleground is truly between the ears of the average American, I can't tell you how naive and clueless I was when I was younger [especially when I was in the service].

"Calling talk radio is a powerful weapon...we humans are dealing with a lot of lies and propoganda daily, so speaking truth to 500,000+ at a time for 30 seconds to several minutes X the number of motivated people like us will bring down the deception. I believe this.

Paging Terry Gilliam, or Why Mother Jones Can’t Have It Both Ways

The October 2008 issue of Mother Jones (Special Election Edition) deals with the devastating legacy of the outgoing Bush Administration and the problems it has imposed on our democracy. A “New Hope” warms the horizon, melting away the Wicked Witch of the West (Bush, in green-face, on the cover), and so it seems the climate is finally favorable for an all-out assault on the Bush junta. One might assume that September 11th, 2001, would be an obvious point of attack. Unfortunately, Mother Jones chose instead to bash the 9/11 Truth Movement—and by extension anyone who questions the official narrative.

In an article “The Truth Is Out There: In search of intelligent life in the world of 9/11 Conspiracy Theories” (p. 95), Dave Gilson states that “the 9/11 truth movement’s narrative is just as maddeningly inadequate – and unimaginative – as the neocons’.” Aside from the article being factually inaccurate, Mr. Gilson’s self-defeating thesis is astonishingly easy to dismantle – with the help of his own words.
