One in 5 Canadians sees 9/11 as U.S. plot: poll

OTTAWA (Reuters) - One in five Canadians believes the attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001, had nothing to do with Osama Bin Laden and were actually a plot by influential Americans, according to a poll released on Monday.
The Ipsos-Reid poll found that 22 percent of Canadians, and 26 percent of young Canadians, agree with the conspiracy theory. The number was the highest, at 32 percent, in Quebec, which has shown the least support for the U.S. war on terror.
The poll asked if the events of September 11, "including the thousands of American citizens who lost their lives on that day, were actually orchestrated by a group of highly influential Americans and others as part of a wider global conspiracy to profit from and gain power and who are actually protecting Osama Bin Laden from being captured."
"Conspiracy theories are popular, as we all know," said Ipsos pollster Paul Orovan.
Sixty-six percent said the actions were carried out by Bin Laden's disciples as an attack on the United States and as part of a global war of terror against Western and affluent democracies.
Twelve percent said neither or refused to answer.
The random telephone survey of 1,000 adult Canadians was conducted for CanWest News Service and Global News from August 29-31. Such a sample is considered accurate to within 3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.

I suspect if LIHOP was included, the number would be much higher.

I don't trust this poll. Its irrelevant anywho. Its like CNN asking guests why 1/2 or America still believes a: there is something called "al quida". b: that sadam hussein worked with them. The answer is obviously that these people what I believe to be false assumptions because you Mr. CNN keeper of the official narrative have told them this 6000 times a week for 5 years.
I'm at the stage where I doubt all official narrative. Did Sadam Hussein gas his own people? Are there UFO's in New Mexico. I don't know, but until I see any evidence, I'm agnostic on all subjects until I see some verifiable data. 9/11 has shaken me to the core.

you can't imagine where my trip through 4 years of free and agnostic thinking leads me. Without beeing paranoid, first I stumpled about the the money conspiracy, know I tend to view the idea or principle of reign as the biggest conspiracy of all time.

Even the romanians knew: Power makes corrupt. There's nothing new on this world since the invention
of rule or reign several thousand years ago in ancient Mesopotamia with the uprising of the curgan people
and the invention of tokens- the first money, the first way to enslave others with subtile power.
The first reflex on this is always: it was always as it is today, and there is no order without reign, otherwise we would have anarchy, which "means" chaos.
It's a reflex by those who can not think about social living styles without reign, without the order through the powers that be.
It's trained. Every order without reign is unthinkable, it's an anarchy, chaotic, not wishful world.

There are several millions of people, mostly indigene, still organized today without a given order from above.
Gerda Weiler, a german author, called it: mandate power vs. beeing power.
If there is mandate power you have no power to decide how the world looks on your own.
Another word for this principle is subsidiarity.
And reign needs not only order, it needs force to maintain order, as the will of the slaves is opponent to the will of the masters.

I somewhat disagree with the
I somewhat disagree with the assessment of the literacy website.
I've travelled the entire country over, and would agree that this may be accurate for larger urban centres, which are largely places where new immigrants settle. Some of these people never bother to learn english... people like my grandparents, who have a hard time reading and writing, but still get by.
I am skeptical of the figure, 42% seems incredibly high.
I have personally never met anyone who cannot read and write, and I've volunteered with every level of society. I would place more emphasis on the immigrant factor. I am from Toronto, and have not noticed this. Take this statement to mean whatever you like!

Ipsos-Reid is the most respected polling agency in the country, so I would put some stock in their findings.

I find it hard to believe that only 22% of Canadians believe 9/11 was an inside job.
Last poll I saw in Canada put them ahead of the US, plus they have a lot more of the 9/11 truth on their MSM.

Also, don't forget something like 64% of Canadians agreed with LIHOP just two years ago. It seems unlikely that 40% of those people can't make the transition to MIHOP.
zogby poll
A zogby poll showed that 43% of people don't know about wtc 7. So about half the people know about wtc 7 and about half the people think 911 was a lihop minimum. The more people we make aware of wtc7 the bigger we become. Just like that demolition dude when he found out about wtc 7, his tone and expression said it all when he began to realize what he had just learn, I'll bet his brain's been spinning ever since.
