If Amy is really a brilliant 'provocateur for truth', by ignoring or beating up the truth camp until we focus or better hone our arguments.... she's running out of time fast, and employing a tactic which has almost completely run its course.

The head Left Gatekeeper herself, Amy Goodman has a new book coming out and she's having a book party/reception on the early evening of 9/11 at Cooper Union and she's charging people for the coming.

That is just totally outrageous & infuriating!!!

I'll join that contingency of protesters...hell I'll spend the 100 bucks to infiltrate it!!!!! When the protesters arrive outside, some of us on the'inside'can start raising our voices in protest ....I'm picturing a mini-version of the 68 Chicago, Democratic convention.....(hopefully, minus the baton beatings and arrests)

Just got my tickets for the whole Democracy Now event. Including the wine and jazz hob-nobbing reception.Would any one else like to join me or offer suggestions on how best to utilize this situation for 911 Truth and open the left wing gates? Don't get me wrong....I am a progressive who use to love chompsky,Goodman, Barsamian...ect...until 911 started to filter the wheat from the chafe , so to speak. We need to force them to openly deal with 911.

My dream would be to have William Rodriguez openly confront Juan Gonzales and Barrie Zwicker to openly confront Miss Goodman. I think there is a lot of potential here....and I also think some wine, jazz, and appetizers would be nice after a long hard day of 911 Truth outreach.

Still, she was one of the two journalists who were present in the Vera Cruz massacre, in East Timor, in the early 90's, and brought it into world knowledge (though most of american media ignored it, until a videotape showed up). Also, in the late 90's, one of her coleagues found out, through secret cables back and forth the US and Indonesia, that the Indonesian were behind the attacks by milicias in East Timor at that time (after the referendum), and were being supported (not tactically) by the US.

You are further begging the question by pointing out this very back-round of Amy; Most people exposed to such extremes of injustice, are incapable of maintaining a pretended "face" when looking at a case like 9/11.

If you're defending her, which is clearly understandable, you still beg for an answer to an ever tougher question.

For me, I am reduced to only two possibilities for explaining Amy's mind set:

1) She does not know that a dangerous parity is growing fast between Official Believers vs. non-believers.

OR!

2) She knows, but for some reason she actively chooses to discuss other things.

Can you offer a third, unconsidered?

If that reason is because she's not in command of herself.... what the hell can any of us do about that? "She's made her bed." as was said earlier.

If she's trying to brilliantly flush the story while pretending 'there is no story'..... the hour is late, Amy Sweetheart.

Turning up the calls and demands to her that she look closer at this subject, revels a person not responding in any recognizable way as someone committed to FIXING and dispelling with confusion. She delegitimizes herself and looks more like a passenger/follower, rather than any kind of leader for truth. In my opinion.

I was living in Sarasota at the time and the Stewart plane event received a lot of coverage. The plane had reached cruising altitude when contact was lost. Interception took place in less than 20 minutes, while the plane was still in Florida airspace, and fighters accompanied it all the way across country until it ran out of gas and crashed in the upper Mid-West. From take-off to intercept may have been about 30 minutes. It was not on the order of 90 minutes but much quicker. This personal recollection should be easy to verify on the basis of many contemporary news accounts in Floria newspapers.
