The Media And The 9/11 Truth Movement

They have failed this country, and the world.

"An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it" - Gandhi

Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? The facts speak for themselves.

Actually ...

What the media has done is shown us that they are not free to even investigate, let alone report on, matters of the deep (national security) State. My suspicion is that their inability to do so in regards to 9/11 is circumscribed by two factors: First, ownership by corporate interests with substantial ties to the military industrial complex and other monied interests and, Second, the full (unknown to us) meaning of COG protocols. My suspicion is that this latter strictly limits any broadcast or publication of 'news' discussion of 9/11, requiring it to adhere to and never contradict the established narrative for "national security" reasons. Of course on the individual level there is the psychological denial rooted in incredulity that we all have faced when attempting to inform our fellow citizens about 9/11. Only in this sense can we speak of the "failure" of the press to use its First Amendment right (and, indeed, obligation) to inform the public. But on the institutional level we can't give them the courtesy of "failure" as an excuse. They haven't merely failed us, they've betrayed us. Even if, as I suspect, they have done so "lawfully" as directed under COG protocols, their adhesion to these protocols in the face of mass murder, treason, war crimes and crimes against humanity, allows only one conclusion: They are enemies of both our national ideals and the larger enterprise of human freedom. Freedom by its very nature can not be built upon a foundation of deception.

Well said

'Freedom by its very nature can not be built upon a foundation of deception.'

Well said. This is precisely why it's so maddening when people--especially when they are activists who are otherwise well-informed--are dismissive of the issue of 9/11 truth. Hostility to the truth from people who still subscribe to the OCT is bad enough. But what about the indifference of those who know the official story doesn't make sense, but seem not to think it important at all that the truth be exposed?

Individual Media Members Choose To Remain Silent

When the student is ready the teacher will come.

As Martin Luther King Jr stated:
There comes a time when silence is betrayal.

For each individual media member that knows in their own personal mind that the government's version of 9/11 doesn't hold up to the facts that are verifiable listen to this. You are making a horrible mistake with your decision to remain silent and you are definitely betrayers to the goodness of humanity. If you made that decision to stay silent because of your job and economic security I feel sorry for you. You should have quit your job and found a new way of making a living.

Take Care Matt

well the media hasn't failed everyone

They certainly haven't failed those countries and those corporations hellbent on dragging the entire world into a conflict and those who want to continue the destruction of the environment and the exploitation and disenfranchisement of indigenous peoples everywhere.....
the media hasn't failed the criminal psychotic killers who are a blight on the planet at all...
The media is in perfect alignment with the state sponsored terrorists who are behind 911 and most of the crimes committed all over the world
as well.

just askin'

Jon in a previous thread i wondered if you thought Neil Harrit's results for nanothermite to be "opinion" only as well as the "cd" issue is "opinion" and shouldn't be used as a persuasion tool. You never replied....
Do you have some thoughts on this?

None...

Whatsoever.

ok

thanx!

You do understand...

That when I say they failed "this country, and the world," I'm referring to the 99.99% of the population, and not those who benefit from the current state of the media?

Do these people deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered? The facts speak for themselves.

naturally

Yes but this isn't just a "random failure" of incompetence.. The media is a vast and interconnected network which was amazingly synchronized on this particular event.....
Of course the media was designed that way .....just as the collapses of the three massive steel framed and cement sky scrapers were carefully arranged and engineered in advanced.
Our media was created and designed to fail for the masses and benefit the elite.

Great Interview with John Perkins.

Thanks

I sent it out to some of the mindless flag wavers in my circle.

5 Reasons that Corporate Media Coverage is Pro-War

Telling quote

I found this quote from an interview with Seymour Hersh to be particularly telling:

'Q: What can be done to fix the (media) situation?

[Long pause] You'd have to fire or execute ninety percent of the editors and executives.'

The Mechanistic Mess We're In

The shame we have had to live in for being 911 truthers, is something that needs to be said.

Mechanically, I think we bear the shame thrust upon us by messages heard, repeatedly by millions - that we must be ashamed for questioning the official story.

Now consider the Chess game - the mechanics of this once again. We'll say that we are on the Bill Maher show, and Bill says he wants to hear about this 911 conspiracy business. Do the Chess. If Bill sides with 911 Truthers, then he and his show enters the hall of shame. Maybe even he didn't know that, but maybe even he knows that now?

(And, adding other variables, Bill Maher is opinionated and a populist as a liberal, as a thinker and a comedian, and as a popular figure. But can he represent this? I would guess not)

The powers that be have created a divide between one side and other, like a gaping hole disease.

In American society, I think just about anyone can be brought to the moment of seeing the sense of shame that has been successfully associated with opposition to the government - to the White House in particular, who has an executive show to run (in a time of war).

Conversely, when execs say its time to let the flood doors open on 911 truth, then the media can openly embrace it, or to be consistent with the above, to openly promote 911 truth.

too deep for me

I am not sure what you are getting at here. I do not think there shame is ours, but the guilt and shame must be placed to a large extent on the media for their failure to inform and for their outright lies.

I am not ashamed at all of seeing and speaking the truth. I am ashamed for the others who do not, many of them my friends and relations.
I do not understand how they can believe what they claim they do believe after having seen the evidence unless they are guilty of a deep moral failure. This makes me very ashamed for them and for what our country has become.
I despise Bill Maher. He showed us who he truly he is. I don't think he is funny anymore. He is just another liar.
