Now, before you get your panties in a bunch, this is about a new book, titled "The Ground Truth: The Story Behind America's Defense on 9/11".
And before you get all outraged (The FAQ! The FAQ!), here is the author of the book, John Farmer:
John Farmer served as Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission, where his areas of responsibility included assessing the national response to the terrorist attacks and evaluating the current state of national preparedness for terrorist attacks and natural disasters, he also served as attorney general of New Jersey (1999-2002), as chief counsel to Governor Whitman, and as a federal prosecutor. He recently served as a subject matter/rule of law expert on security to the special envoy for Middle East regional security. He is currently a partner of a New Jersey law form and an adjunct professor of national security law at Rutgers University Law School. His editorials and articles have appeared in "The New York Times" and elsewhere

It appears Farmer's views are being misinterpreted
AFAICT, Farmer is claiming that the 9/11 Commission report is false because of a CYA agenda. He isn't claiming anything sinister took place but rather that incompetence and chain of command disconnect were worse than portrayed by the 9/11 Commission report. For example, NORAD officials lied because they didn't want to admit how badly they dropped the ball. Suffice to say this isn't in the realm of other theories like a NORAD stand down or intentional confusion by way of war games.

From what I understand, when Farmer testified before Leahy in regards to a "Truth Commission," he was all for another 9/11 Commission type investigation. Farmer's book confirms that we don't know the truth. We have to emphasize the fact that Farmer's belief as to why that is the case is just an opinion. An opinion that is most likely incorrect. That doesn't mean there won't be "nuggets" in the book.

Shenon's book from the viewpoint of a commission insider
is my guess. Shenon, Kean/Hamilton, Clarke, Tenet and now Farmer have all managed to get 9/11 books published.There is an obvious contradiction between the views presented in 9/11 books (incompetence, bureaucratic inefficiencies, turf battles) and the overwhelming secrecy in relation to 9/11 Commission records. For example, one would think the FBI and CIA Bin Laden unit chiefs have something substantive to say about 9/11 yet we haven't heard a word from either of them.
I know most people on 9/11 Blogger know these details but many people who read Farmer's book will not know that:
Bamford refuted the incompetence explanation when he reported that Rossini and Miller were ordered to withhold information from the FBI. Bamford was also unable to explain why Hayden didn't use FISA. Cooperative Research has examined the conduct of FBI UBLU officials and discovered that UBLU officials deliberately obstructed Cole investigators (i.e. falsely claiming the Gorelick wall prevented information sharing even though the NSLU attorney said otherwise).

Purposefully obstructing justice is not "incompetence." It is criminal.
With regards to Shenon... he and I correspond on occasion. He's not a bad guy. However, the one question he won't answer is why he doesn't have a front page article on the NYTimes going through some of the more obvious problems with the official account.

LIMITED HANGOUT
I believe the powers that be are floating this story as a limited hangout misdirection.
The numbers show that a good proportion of the masses don't believe the official story. They are now aware of what a bunch of liars the Bush Crime Family are. They are hypersensitized by the effects of the economic crash. They are more receptive to the 911 Truth. This story is floated to show coverup, but stop short of the Real Truth, complicity.
Daily Kos is helping float the limited hangout.

Malloy is right on target in all of this...but he has been targeted by AirAmericaRadio...aka...the "lefties" in NYC-WDC because they KNOW that he will go right at these democratic whores in congress. And most Manhattan "lefties?" have some really, really big stuff to hide about 9/11...

I have never seen that number of comments on any site, so I assume it is quite rare. I have not read any comments yet. It will be interesting to see if the reputed Daily Koss censorship of pro-911-truth comments will take place. Over I go, Tallyho!

I was reading some of the comments over at the Daily Kos site and it's surprising how close-minded many of the posters are. In fact, their close-mindedness has a strong fascistic tone to it. This leads me to believe the site is run by zealous ideologues and not by truth seekers. We knew a lot of resistance was coming from the right. I now see a lot is also coming from the left.
