Exactly what did Colin Powell refer to as the 'crisis'? Ideas anyone? Could it have anything to do with Iran? Or is it the biggest bank crisis ever to occur we will face?

I think this is misunderstood

In the context of the interview, Powell is simply saying the President has to be ready in the days following the inauguration (January 20, 2009) for tests that are not now apparent. Brokaw mentioned apparent tests (global warming, two wars, the economy, etc.), and Powell seems to be relating to that comment.

I don't think so ...

I watch this carefully and more is being made of this that it appears. He was asked a hypotheticl question, and he was answering it hypothetically. I didn't hear anything alarming ...*shrugs* at least not this time.

The fact that Colin knows the date and being a military man he has the habit to plan the actions long time in avance it is going to be a planned crisis.

And by the how about Colin Powell giving us the white paper he had promised the world in 2001 proving Ben Laden's guilt for the 911 attacks. We are still waiting for this important paper or was this just another one of his lies ?

does this join up with Colin Powell’s crisis in January knowing that Al Quada is in reality the CIA+PENTAGON ? Barack Obama’s inauguration will be the day before Tuesday 20th of January 2009. Normally the 21 January should be a new begining for America , hope for the future and a positive sign to the world. So why should there be more of a risk fo a crisis after the inauguration that before ?
