Luke Rudkowski on 9/11/08 Events
We Are Change founder Luke Rudkowski joined The Corbett Report today to discuss the events planned to commemorate the 7th anniversary of 9/11 in New York City next week. "This 7th annivesary here in New York City we're planning on doing three days of fundraising events for sick and dying 9/11 first responders. We're going to be having movie showings, speaker symposiums and also musical concerts," Rudkowski explained.

The events are in support of the 9/11 first responders, many of whom are suffering the devestating effects of their exposure to toxic dust in the wake of the Twin Towers' collapse. As Rudkowski points out in the interview, the EPA knowingly lied to 9/11 first responders when it told them that the air around ground zero was safe to breathe. "Right now we have a situation where the federal government does not want to support our 9/11 heroes, because if they do support them and give them the proper medical care that they deserve they're going to have to own up and admit that they lied to our 9/11 heroes," Rudkowski said in the telephone interview. "That's why if the federal government is not going to help those people in need, we are change, we are here, and we will do their job. We will help those in need because that's what life's about."
The events, named 2008: Now Or Never will start on September 10 with a film night which will screen Jason Bermas' Fabled Enemies and Alex Jones' Truth Rising. The 11th will include a ground zero street vigil in the morning, street actions in the afternoon, and vigils and speeches at Judson Church featuring victim family members and first responders from 3 p.m. Finally, on the 12th there will be a speaker symposium including such 9/11 truth movement leaders as the Green Party presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney, architect Richard Gage, actor Daniel Sunjata and syndicated radio host Alex Jones. The evening of the 12th will feature a first responder benefit concert with hip-hop artists who have come out for 9/11 truth such as Dead Prez, Saigon, Paris, Talib Kweli and others.
Not only will proceeds go to support 9/11 first responder charities, but Rudkowski also indicated We Are Change is setting up a money bomb for September 11 to help raise even more money for first responders, details of which are to be released on the We Are Change homepage.
Asked about why it's important for members of the 9/11 truth community to gather together in New York to mark the anniversary of these events each year, Rudkowski responded: "Because the whole world is going to be watching ground zero on 9/11. It's very important for us to be out there and send a strong message to everybody out there that we are here, we are not leaving, we are never going to stop doing this."
