both of our main newspapers are still printing headlines about the good news from Iraq.

we need coordinated non-violent action.

200,000 protesters dressed business casual (ala Alex Jones) lead by a calm speaking 9/11 Malcolm X demanding the investigation be opened.

we need to make TV events. the TV will show us then.

there is power in contradictions.

why can't we have white helmets and plastic shields and gas masks to protect ourselves.

how about a uniform.

how about raising money to establish a peace force. like green peace. there's lots of unemployed smart people who care who could be paid to carry out actions, who could be moved in comfortable buses, could be trained in boot camps for non-violent resistance.

Another patriotic band is "Anti-Flag". Don't let the name fool you they are real patriots. It's takes some balls to have a name like that. They are a punk band my kid listens to. Many of there songs try to bring to light some of the ugly truths our government has been doing in our name.

If you want to change THE SYSTEM, then you need to WORK THE SYSTEM.

Without fair elections you can forget it. Therefore:

SET UP AN ALTERNATIVE ELECTION SYSTEM.

* the voter can ON ISSUES, as well as people. There are 50 issues on the ballot paper.

* the candidate can be prosecuted if (s)he promises to further one issue, and then furthers another.

* invent OPEN-SOURCE fraud-proof computer-method, by mail-scan, mobile-phone-TXT-message or web/email ... anonymity guaranteed by SWAPING VOTE-voucher ENCOURAGED.

Do it all in the PRIMARIES ... to conform to the current system... then THEY cannot refuse it.

issue suggestions:

_ do you want our country to observe its international obligations, such as human-rights conventions etc

_ do you want to join the Climate treaty KYOTO

_ do you want to abolish TV advertising?

_ do you want to have universal health care

_ do you want 30hr work-week?

_ do you want progressive tax?

_ do you want electric cars

_ do you want free child-care

and so on.

regarding taking action

I am from the UK and would be interested in co-ordinating a protest near parliament that demands our government question our US allies etc

I believe a license would be necessary to hold such a protest

It would be worth setting a date in a few months time in order to gain momentum and a lot of help would be needed to get the numbers

The reason i suggest it is because it would be more surprising for the UK media as it's not 'our' conspiracy - we also do not (yet) have such a bunch of manufactured anti 'tin hat wearers' to dismiss the movement as nutcases

(I say this, but there was actually a piece in the guardian today aimed at disproving 7/7 conspiracies - well timed for the release of Terrorstorm which covers the topic)

Why isn't Alex Jones REALLY doing something like leading a REAL protest? He is doing the best job of anyone getting out the message WITH documentation. What is the gist of that article listed above I can't read it? Any feedback for a little old keyboard warrior? They have us contained, and poeple just don't want to hear it. The sent my buddies home in body bags during Vietnam and now they won't show the pictures of the dead and dying. That would od it. Yup.

The essence of the Guardian article was talking about 'the rumour mill' of the net, how information is distorted and blown out of all proportion. You can see the path the media will feel it can legitimately pursue - exposing false claims. The trouble for the 9/11 movement is simply that - if a sufficient number of you can be
get legitimally discredited, those with valid arguments get buried, guilt by association to the undecided, they will move back to the official explanation.

Professor Jones took the issue of Building 7 and went through the NIST report on the WTC collapse. The science for NIST's conclusions can be held up to scrutiny - they cannot object to that. The call for a full review of the evidence is the best hope, all the information that was ignored - like the testimonies of the 1st responders, obtained by the NYT.

I think there are loads of people like me, fence people, that hoped the inquiry would explain the failures of the FAA and NORAD to stop the planes getting through. Who do have a problem with the way the collapses occured. Who do feel shocked that so many people were put through additional trauma and pain because the dangers posed by the dust were ignored by officials. If someone can produce sufficient evidence that the WTC collapse was due to something like thermate, logically we have to know who had the opportunity to do that. That is something nobody can afford to dismiss.

yeah, i always have to laugh when these rightwing assholes show up on tv calling for journalists to be jailed when in reality, these same journalists spend most of their time covering their collective asses.

I think Dylan Avery et al's proposal to show up at ground zero on 9/11/06 in "Investigate 911" T shirts is the best plan right now... I'm certainly planning on going.
