This week our campaign has been inspired by Rep. Dennis Kucinich filing 35 articles of impeachment against George W. Bush. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, has re-affirmed that impeachment is off the table. Let’s send her a few faxes telling her that defending the Constitution of the United States is her duty, not her prerogative. Tell her to do her job and get both of these criminals out of the Oval Office. Dear Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi,

I am writing you to express my dismay at the fact that you are apparently unwilling to bring President Bush and Vice President Cheney to justice despite the fact that they have repeatedly broken the law and violated their oath of office. Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio should be commended for his integrity by bringing forward articles of impeachment against both Bush and Cheney. Instead of backing him, you publicly denounce his courageous actions and proclaim impeachment to be off the table. Well Madam Speaker I am here to tell you that it is your duty to defend the Constitution, not your prerogative. I insist you act immediately to bring forward impeachment hearings against both Bush and Cheney for their repeated violations of the law. I pledge to work to have you removed from office if you do not fulfill your duty as Speaker of the House and at least try to remove these criminals from office.

Rep. Kucinich was right when he brought forward these articles of impeachment. He is doing his job as a defender of the Constitution and the Republic. You should be doing your job as well by taking action on this issue and not kow-towing to the criminal cabal currently occupying the Oval Office. Letting these criminals remain in power speaks volumes about your integrity and dedication to the oath of office you took. Please reverse your decision to take impeachment off the table and let’s take back our country from these criminals who want to dismantle all that we hold dear.

Madam Speaker, I know that it will not be easy to get the votes for impeachment. But nothing worth doing is ever easy. This could be the defining issue of your career. We must send a message to the world that criminals are not allowed to remain in power in America. The ball is in your court now Madam Speaker. Please do not drop it.

As a side note, I just wanted to say that this week it was a very difficult decision whether to focus on faxing Nancy Pelosi demanding impeachment or faxing John McCain demanding that he meet with Blair Gadsby.
