On Sunday May 18th, co-authors and siblings David and Amy Goodman spoke at the Philadelphia Free Library about their new book "Standing Up to the Madness." The book tells the stories of countless men and women around the country who have been tragically affected by the War on Terror resultant from the attacks of September 11, 2001. For a long while, Amy Goodman took a non-position on the issue of the "9/11 cover-up" saying "we've had Loose Change and Popular Mechanics on the show", thereby insinuating that 9/11 Truth had made an insufficient argument to merit pursuit of the issue any further. After a barrage of truth-squads however, it seems Goodman has changed to a more conciliatory tone agreeing that "the 9/11 Commission did not do enough" and that "there needs to be a new investigation." It is encouraging to hear that Goodman finally concedes the need for a new investigation but is there any substance to this call or is it just rhetoric to temporarily satisfy the 9/11 Truth movement? Philly truth-activists caught up with Goodman at a book-signing after the speaking engagement to discuss what she is doing in the way of advancing the cause of 9/11 Truth. When questioned about aiding 9/11 Truth, Goodman skirted around the issue by stating, "I just think it is very important" and "there needs to be an investigation". Saying that there should be inquiry is unfortunately not enough, Goodman and other people with influence must take immediate and unceasing action if they truly believe in the need for 9/11 accountability. Goodman continues tour around the country, so info-warriors beware, send truth-squads and tell Amy that the passive act of "thinking" that there needs to be a new investigation is not enough, we need proactive pursuit to achieve 9/11 accountability.
