This last Saturday, April 26th, in San Francisco on Ocean Beach hundreds of people showed up to spell out IMPEACH with their bodies for Beach Impeach 5. The 50 foot high word IMPEACH was photographed from a helicopter above to send the message to congress to impeach Bush and Cheney. It was a beautiful day on the beach in San Francisco and although the crowd was smaller than past events, there was plenty of enthusiasm and positive vibes from all who attended. Peace activist Cindy Sheehan was there gathering signatures for her independent run for congress to take Nancy Pelosi's congressional seat in November. Last Friday, she took out papers in San Francisco's City Hall to enter the race for Congress. Cindy has moved to San Francisco and will run her campaign from her headquarters in the Mission district. No Lies Radio interviewed Cindy at the beach on this ground-breaking day and she had quite a lot to say about Impeachment and the need for a new investigation into the events of September 11th.
