(Now, where would the Iranian President get an idea like that in his head? Perhaps he has been hanging around with the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who says that he warned the US of an attack, 12 days before 9/11. Maybe not so high up, could have just been Mohamed Hassanein Heikal – Former Foreign Minister of Egypt. Or perhaps he has been hanging around with Russian President Putin, the Russian intelligence warned us, too. No, more likely just General Ivashov. Maybe it was former German defense ministry official Dr. Johannes B. Koeppel, who thinks 9/11 was a pretext for global dictatorship. Or perhaps it was the former head of German secret services, Horst Ehmke. Or German Defense insider Andreas Von Beulow. Theoretically, it could have been Pakistani General Mirza Aslam Beg. It's really hard to say. He doesn't have his facts straight, but that's nothing new for Ahmadinejad. The AFP reporter is also quick to point out Ahmadinejad's stupid position on the Holocaust, another great reason for 9/11 Truthers to stay the hell away from that topic. -rep.)

TEHRAN (AFP) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accused the United States on Tuesday of using the September 11, 2001 attacks as a "pretext" to launch invasions and cast doubt on the accepted version of the terror strikes.

"On the pretext of this incident a major military operation was launched and oppressed Afghanistan was attacked. Tens of thousands of people have been killed until now," he said in a speech broadcast on state television.

"Poor Iraq was attacked. According to official figures... one million people have been killed," he said in the speech marking Iran's day of nuclear technology.

Another Smoking Gun in my opinion.!!

If you were warned 12 days ago about an impending attack by the Egyptian President, would you go ahead with war games that left you completely undefended. I could see possibly in times of complete peace or perceived security, but right after a warning like that. NO WAY.

Including one from the Director of the CIA - warning congress that there was going to be an "imminent" attack on the United States "of this nature"...

Looks like he is about to get the same treatment that Iraq and Afghanistan got, based upon lies, and he knows it.

Of course he is wrong about the names of 3000 victims not being published.
Either, as you suggest he does not have his facts straight, OR he misspoke, was misquoted or misinterpreted, BUT that is what will be seized upon by the MSM propagandist pundits on behalf of the "complex". That, and questioning the official holocaust numbers.

They will skillfully ignore that "He also asked how it was possible that advanced radar and intelligence systems did not detect the planes before they hit the towers of the World Trade Centre in New York."

That of course is also not quite correct (swap "detect" with "intercept" and we have it) . But again, i would not take for granted that they are quoting him or reporting correctly. They have deliberately misquoted him in the past regarding Israel.

All the "warnings" were probably leaked on purpose.

I think the conspirators deliberately leaked, through many channels, that OBL was planning a big operation like 911; that way, when it happens, people have already been subconsciously manipulated to believe that it *was* OBL, no questions asked, and no wasteful investigation needed. Moreover, the conspirators also have the makings of an "incompetence" defense.

Bingo

These fictions should not be taken at face value. All we really know is that the buildings were blown up and that is what killed most of the people and injured many more. What came before is irrelevant to what killed most of the people, other than as an utterly implausible explanation. (This is also what bothers me about saying "and a plane didn't hit WTC7," as if a plane hitting means anything.)

AHMADEINEJAD: Well, you shouldn't speak on behalf of the American people... The American people still don't know who was behind the bombing of the Twin Towers. Many books in the U.S. have been written about the incident., and there are questions circling in your society. Once you go back, go to the streets, ask the local people who was behind this, what were the reasons for that? And, again, I fail to see why you continually say “the American people.“ I have the latest surveys. Eighty percent of the American citizens say that the American government knew about the attack beforehand. They had information.
