"If it is possible for someone to assassinate a President
in broad daylight in a major American city, and then have
the Federal government fake the autopsy evidence and
conceal the nature of the crime itself, then those who
exercised that kind of power are emboldened to repeat
performances of that kind over and over again. The
American people are not unreasonable to suspect that
that has happened to them many times by now." Paul Kuntzler
from [American Dream] by Mike Palecek

"To live in the process is absolutely not to notice it--
please try to believe me -... Each step was so
small, so inconsequential, so well explained,
or on occasion, 'regretted'..." German university professor, describing
to journalist Milton Mayer what it was like under the Nazis in the 1930s
