CNN Cover's 9/11 Skeptics and Misrepresents 911Truth.org

CNN's The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer briefly covered 9/11 'conspiracy theory' websites this evening including references to Loose Change Second Edition, Reopen911.org, and 911truth.org. Unfortunately they managed to mischaracterize 911truth.org.

Stating '..they want the government to release pentagon surveillance videos saying they think a cruise missile hit the pentagon instead of a plane', CNN misrepresented 911truth.org. In fact, 911truth.org has never advocated such a position regarding the Pentagon, and I am not quite sure where they came across the idea actually, asside from confusing them for another website or 9/11 organization.

That is not to say that many do not question the Pentagon, but just to say that if your going to cover 9/11 websites for the first time in the history of your channel, then you could at least make sure your 45 seconds worth of information is accurate!

that coverage was nothing

that coverage was nothing but good for the movement.

the news model seemed very matter of fact and didn't interject any editorializing into the presentation.

the door is cracking open guys.

you're too negative about this. not very many people watch cnn.

loose change has a much larger audience than cnn

Doesn't USA Today need to make a retraction about claiming that the flight recorder from AA77 was found at the pentagon?

..."Among the assertions in Loose Change is that a missile hit the Pentagon even though eyewitnesses saw the jet, numerous pieces of wreckage were found including the flight recorder, and those on the flight and in its path at the Pentagon are dead."...

This just further makes me believe that they know they can no longer contain the truth so their trying to smear it. But as anyone knows any press is good press.

I just gave DVD's of 9/11 Revisited to all 8 council members and the mayor of San Diego Jerry Sanders. Also dropped a couple off at the police station and fire department near me.

I think they got the

I think they got the 911truth.org pentagon missile thing wrong because they clicked on the 3rd story down on 911truth.org, which links to:

That site has FOIA Requests for Pentagon video, but says in the updates that we shouldn't be wasting our time dividing the movement by "spinning a new generation of 9/11 skeptics into 9/11 goofballs who are going to spend the next 2 1/2 years looking at the same old pictures of the pentagon going, 'gee, that IS a small hole...' and who will spend endless hours replaying the WTC video trying to see the missile pods."

So they attributed an incorrect summary of what was said to the wrong site. Two mistakes. The only thing they got right about that part is that there are FOIA Requests pending.

I always have 1 or 2 in reserve.

The locals are handing out troll ratings like they are in a panic. So you might need some extra.

In my opinion, each 9/11 post should have a poll with it so that the vocal 9/11 truth deniers (shills or blind) are seen as the minority that they are.

Last poll that I saw shows that the majority know the score. Let that work for you. People will vote because it is easy and anonymous.
