On a recent C-SPAN Book TV show, Lewis Lapham of Harper's Magazine, told Brian Lamb he was reading "DeBunking 9/11 DeBunking" by David Ray Griffin and that it raised some sharp questions about the world trade center building collapses on 9/11.

I think our point has been made, so, so they don't start not publishing our posts, maybe we should start mentioning some other 9/11 Truth books. And authors. Although DRG is so prolific, you could choose any one of his others. (I didn't choose his 9/11 Commission Report book because I thought that might confuse people with the actual report)

And maybe even mention some DVD's instead of books. Some people aren't "readers", so I think that's valid — you could even qualify your comment:

I'm not much of a book reader, so I would take Richard Gage's DVD "9/11: Blueprint for Truth — The Architecture of Destruction".

Except I'm pretty sure the question specifically mentioned books as the suggestions they were seeking. So as valuable as some DVDs are, I think it's best to stick with the bibliophile mentality of this particular forum.

Does that mean ALL of the many posts in favor of a Griffin book are now disqualified, or only that they've seen enough--have reached their limit--and aren't going to accept any more?

'Spam'? It's not like these comments have all been sent out from the same computer using multiple identities.

I just meant to point out that someone else on the Moyers thread had accused 911 truthers of spamming the thread with the Griffin title, and that perhaps using some other important 911 issue/titles might better reflect the varied and broad based audience that 911 truth reflects.

btw - I have since noticed that several people have been able to post a recommendation for the Walt - Mearsheimer book, so it would appear that "A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm" or "Political Ponerology" are the titles that might be too dangerous for Bill to allow on his thread....a peculiar reaction I have seen on other so called "progressive" web sites as well. How strange is that?? A paper written in part by our very own DOD Under Secretary of Defense - is too naughty to be mentioned anywhere? Enquiring minds want to know!

at my university bookstore. Towers of Deception: The Media Cover-up of 9/11 (2006). Couldn't buy it but skimmed it and it looked good. I don't hear much about it - anyone read it?

DRG's book is good - I don't agree with all his facts and inferences, but I especially like his deconstruction of the idea of "conspiracy theory," and that seems like a fine book to recommend. Tarpley's book is better in some ways, but the cover and format is a bit hoaky and the footnoting is inadequate.

This book has some excellent articles, too, especially those by John McMurtry and Richard Falk:

Falk is a well-known Princeton professor of international law and this is the only place he has published on 9/11. He hedges, not takling a position on negligence, let it happen, or made it happen, but but great analysis of why any could be true. I wish he would publish this on the Internet.
