Mr. Douglass I could care less who supports this book Its a fiction !! and it cant be supported by facts, It might have a good storyline for Hollywood or mass consumption, but I think he would have been better off using a facts based novel with references.

If you had read anything about "The Shell Game," you'd know that as chapter lead ins throughout the book are REAL 9/11 RESEARCH QUOTES, by respected 9/11 researchers like David Ray Griffin, Mike Ruppert, etc. etc.

This book, novel, fiction, whatever you want to call it IS LIKE A LEAFLET OF 9/11 TRUTH FACTS THAT WILL BE PASSED OUT IN AIRPORTS, BOOKSTORES, ETC. ETC. ALL OVER THE FRIGGIN' WORLD.

Come of folks, have just a tiny bit of vision.

Polemics are entirely uncalled for here (or anywhere, for that matter).

As I said before, please don't force me to channel my inner five year-old (and that WOULD be the thumb sucking one, too) and follow you everywhere on Blogger posting this:

TRUTH + FICTION = DISINFORMATION (by definition)

Trust me, we'll get there Bill, we'll get there with or without The Shell Game.

No one person, one video or one book makes or breaks the progress of 9/11 truth.

Take some time off and let us get the dadgummit book and read it, already, then ask us to promote the beegeebers out of it if we want to.

I really hope it is as FREAKING FANTASTIC as it is being portrayed, but I will not be driven like live stock to stampede something I have incomplete knowledge of.

Reagan said "trust, but verify". Bush just says "trust me". Me, I always look both ways (twice) before crossing the street, I trust my own judgment and you should encourage a full analysis of the book and allow people to come to it based on its merits as they are perceived by each reader without resorting to browbeating or uber hype. Then, when they do support it, they will do so whole-heartedly and without reservation, which is what you want, yes?

because I happen to know many people (myself included) who learn a ton about the politics and science of the world around them through Michael Crichton and Tom Clancy. And we all know those two primarily write fiction.

As for calling the library, I already did. Two, in fact. in my area, and a representative from one of them (who seemed interested in what the book was about) said he would order a copy of "The Shell Game" in about a week or so (for the other, I just left a message on the library's machine).

So I concur that it is a good idea for 9/11 truthers to call their local library about this book -- even if it IS a work of fiction. ;)

I'm not here to defend Bill Douglas or anyone else, nor to start a fight with you but I do agree that a book of fiction by a best selling author can only be good for our cause. I agree that using a fact based novel using references would be more credible, but one demographic we need to penetrate is the fiction reading public. I can't quote actual figures, but I'm sure that fiction readers outnumber fact based readers by a large factor. Next we need to reach out to the even larger "television only" demographic:o

I donated a new one to the twentynine palms, ca library....as in twentynine palms where the marines and navy call home....

One thing I'd like to do is honor the work of 911Blogger for creating a place where I can touch in daily and stay up to date on relevant 9/11 truth issues.

Their publications are excellent, and it is not their fault that trolls attend to distract, and destroy.

I just hope that readers like Tom Breidenbach will continue to read here, and to post their rational cogent comments.

Together we will win. Truth will out.

Wow, its never been easier on this site to get called a 'troll' .
All you have to do is express some scepticism about the totally obvious uber hype created by BillDouglas who goes from blog to blog to post the same advertising for a fictional novel that will bring 911 justice if only we buy a couple dozen copies and tell everybody that it is the greatest thing happening to 911 truth ever.
Want to read the book first before engaging in any pushing of it ?? You troll !! Everybody who wants 911 justice pushes this book! period! yada yada
