Prof. Peter Dale Scott publishes: ""9/11, JFK, and War: Recurring Patterns in America’s Deep Events."

Professor Peter Dale Scott adds another well-researched paper to the Journal of 9/11 Studies: "9/11, JFK, and War: Recurring Patterns in America’s Deep Events."
One peer-reviewer writes: "It is an amazing paper."
Another: " It should be a fine addition to the high standards seen in all the articles published to date.
You are to be congratulated."

Prof. Scott writes: "If history is what is recorded, then deep history is the sum of events which tend to be officially obscured or even suppressed in traditional books and media. Important recent deep events include the political assassinations of the 1960s, Watergate, Iran-Contra, and now 9/11. All these deep events have involved what I call the deep state, that part of the state which is not publicly accountable, and pursues its goals by means which will not be approved by a public examination. The CIA (with its on-going relationships to drug-traffickers) is an obvious aspect of the deep state, but not the only one, perhaps not even the dirtiest."

He concludes: "Bush and Cheney have maneuvered America into a war on terrorism. That war threatens to become a permanent justification for curtailing the U.S. constitution’s elaborate checks and balances, and its guarantees of America’s traditional liberties.

"Dilip Hiro observed in 2002 that America’s unilateralist war on terror is nothing less than a formula for permanent mobilization for permanent war:

"' Now, by continuing to turn a deaf ear to the plea of the Arab and Muslim leaders, starting with President Mubarak, a loyal ally of Washington, and ending with the ICO [Islamic Conference Organization, an institution for cooperation between Muslim states, headquartered in Saudi Arabia] in April 2001, to convene an international conference under the UN auspices to formulate “a joint organized response of the international community to terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” the Bush administration is failing to live up to the expectations of people around the world that America, the sole superpower, would spearhead a multilateral campaign against the scourge of terrorism based upon a commonly agreed platform, and stop indulging in unilateralist interpretations and actions to fight terror, which would set it on an inexorable course of war without end.'

"This course seems likely to endure, until America’s approach to terrorism is radically redefined by popular demand. And the surest way to liberate ourselves from the siege mentality underlying it will be to finally understand the conspiracies that have brought us here."

Previous versions of this article

In August 2007 911truth.org published an article by Peter Dale Scott, "JFK, 9/11 and War", which was in turn based on a presentation he made in November 2006 titled JFK and 9/11 - Insights Gained From Studying Both.

It was a great read.

I've read extensively about the JFK assassination on the net lately. (Are there any people left in the US who still believes in the conclusion of the Warren commission?)

The JFK assassination is the natural reference point to look for similar patterns. I think we have a lot to learn from the researchers of the JFK ass. How to avoid pitfalls and dead ends etc.

We have a tremendous advantage compared to them. THE INTERNET.

Uh,

Gerald Posner, maybe?

Remember his triumphant book, *Case Closed*? Back in the '80s, that was supposed to be the final word about the assassination. (After 9/11, Posner wrote *Why America Slept: The Failure to Prevent 9/11*, which predictably blames 9/11 on bureaucratic incompetence.)

The rise of the 9/11 truth research is an opportunity to reexamine many other extremely fishy events in American history: the Maine, Pearl Harbor, the Gulf of Tonkin, the USS Liberty, the 1993 WTC bombing, the Waco massacre, the Oklahoma City bombing, the anthrax scare, and the plane crash of Paul Wellstone are some that quickly spring to mind.

I liken 9/11 to the 4-minute mile episode in sports history. For those of you unfamiliar with this, let me explain. At one time, it was widely assumed that nobody could or would ever run a mile in as little as four minutes. People would get fairly close, but no matter how much talented runners practiced, they just couldn't get there. They kept hovering at over four minutes. This went on for many years.

Then one day, unexpectedly, somebody ran the mile in four minutes. At that point, something happened. Within weeks, several others beat four minutes. Soon many others were going under four minutes, and top runners were progressively bringing the record further and further below that.

What was going on? Runners had previously had a mental block concerning the round figure of four minutes, and at some subliminal level wouldn't give themselves permission to run the mile as fast as they really could. Once the 4-minute barrier was broken, competititive runners stopped selling themselves short.

Similarly, the mistakes and sheer audacity of the 9/11 operations have opened countless minds to the reality of government psychological operations. They're able to see past 9/11 itself. And when the time comes when even the political and media establishments concede 9/11 truth, the truth about these other events can then also be laid bare, whereupon the government can be made to subpeona witnesses and give over the records it has withheld these many years.

What about *this* for a reference point?

Just the second biggest terrorist crime in the USA:

http://911research.wtc7.net/non911/oklahoma/index.html

It is quite hilarious that the study by the Eglin Air Force Base concluded that there had to have been several detonation devices inside the building:

"After the attack, US Air Force explosives experts at Eglin Air Force Base tested the official story by conducting a study of a three-story structure that resembled the Murrah Building structurally. The study, known as the Eglin Blast Effects Study (EBES), concluded that the explosive force from the ANFO bomb could not possibly have caused the pattern of destruction seen in the Murrah Building."

The Congress naturally buried the report.

And this was released in August 2001:

Oklahoma City terrorism report released
6-year investigation concludes government 'concealed' truth

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=24056

"After six years in the making, the Oklahoma City Bombing Investigation Committee, headed up by former Oklahoma state representative Charles Key, has announced the long-awaited release of its final report, which differs sharply and dramatically from the official conclusions of the federal government. [...] In a separate development, Key said he is still trying to arrange a meeting with Attorney General John Ashcroft to discuss "improprieties" in the case that he uncovered while the OKC committee's investigation was still underway."

read Scott's, "Road to 9/11"

Peter Dale Scott is a great asset for the movement. Scott succeeds in his latest effort, "Road to 9/11". He is clear as to where the blame lies and offers it up in the most concise readable form I've encountered!

Scott finds merit in the 9/11 Commission Report as a vehicle to assign guilt much in the manner of a lawyer who catches a perp in a lie. It's very precise and insightful as to the deceptions of the report.

For those on this blog concerned about avoiding offensive behavior--if that's possible when warning of a dark future, Scott excels at carefully phrasing his commentary in a tactful and civil manner!

"Road to 9/11" ranks as a crossover book that fits the 9/11 event in the broader perspective of the Deep State's activities of the past three decades. Scott has no illusions about where it is leading us!

...don't believe them!

In July 2007 I wrote a blog about the CIA called

"Can the CIA be the real terrorists ?"
http://www.911blogger.com/node/10050

George H. W. Bush was recruited and part of the original terrorists and has brought his family up with the same cruelty.

In 1945 the USA signed the Charter to the United Nations with 49 other countries.

In 1947, President Truman got tricked into signing the law that created the CIA. Two of the three functions of the CIA were direct violations of the Charter that he had already signed with 49 other countries.

Here is a link to the Preamble of the Charter.
http://www.un.org/aboutun/charter/index.html

Please read it.
Especially the part that starts
"AND FOR THESE ENDS
to practice tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbours, and
to unite our strength to maintain international peace and security, and"

The Eisenhower / Nixon Administration approved and funded more than 13 million dollars, when we were on the Silver Standard. At least the money was backed by something. We've been playing with monopoly money since they removed JFK.

60 years of covert operations, training people how to administer torture, assassinations, Coup d'etats, controlled demolitions, drug trafficking, smuggling, spying, breaking other countries agents into defecting, being double agents, causing chaos, kidnapping and the list goes on and on.

Osama bin-Laden had been trained and financed by the CIA to fight the Russians when they were in Afghanistan. Did we really get to see Osama's gratitude on 9/11 for helping him with the Russians or is Osama still performing a covert operation for the CIA ?

The CIA released "The Family Jewels" at
http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB222/index.htm

They have been coming out more and more about their illegal activities since the Coup d'etats of the US Government during the Florida voter fraud during the 2000 presidential election which ended with the US Supreme Court appointing George W Bush president with a 5-4 decision. At least two of the Supreme Court Justices should have recuse themselves but did not.
