I too, would like to see the highest resolution USGS pre 9/11 picture also, because those scars in the earth did look like they were in an identical position to the "flight 93" impact crater.

If they match up godspeed2012, you have a big part of the 9/11 puzzle dude...

The gouges do not correspond in any way with the crater.

The only thing I can be sure of is the clearing of trees where the access road turns towards the lake. Going with that, the 'dark' gouge cannot be the same as pictured after 9/11. the angle of the gouges do not match.

EDIT: ok after following that line of reasoning I see that the lake is missing, therefore it cannot be of the same location - UNLESS the lake is new and man made - point is there is no reference to base the conclusion that this is indeed the "crash site". This is an abandoned strip mine right? there has to be access roads all over - and this doesn't look like its the same access road going into the trees as again, there is no lake visible.

EDIT: I checked out the WorldWind tool and put in the coordinates for the crash site - this road is not the one pictured in the video - the crash site was on the SE corner of the mine, this road is on the SW corner.
