Asbestos Dangers

Mesothelioma is a dreaded cancer that is nearly always caused by just one factor: asbestos exposure.

FACT: Family members of those who are regularly exposed to high levels of asbestos also have a high risk of developing malignant mesothelioma.

Aidan Monaghan

In the following 9/11 network television footage, ABC television captures white smoke beginning to emerge from the base of WTC 2 within moments of its collapse.

Interestingly, the WBAC cameraman recording the footage also seems to take notice of this newly emerging smoke and pans downward.

A fuller view of this smoke is recorded by NBC television during this same time. A smoke-free region at the base of the towers quickly fills with smoke, followed shortly by WTC 2's collapse.

Demolition device use at the base of these buildings cannot be entirely ruled out until such time that a cause of this smoke, which only appeared just prior to WTC 2's collapse, can be explained. This white smoke contrasts sharply with the black smoke of office burning fires 80+ floors above.

Evidence of thermite use at the WTC on September 11, 2001 is accumulating. Thermite reactions produce white aluminum oxide smoke.

Great clip, Aidan!

How do you get these great photos and clips? Well done.

Looking closely, we see molten material flowing out of WTC 2 just prior to collapse. The camera man seems to follow the flow downward at one point (what do you think?). It is difficult for me to see any particular color to the flow -- I would like to ask what others see: is there a color to the flow (especially when it is abundant for a short time in this clip)?

Molten Metal Seems A Yellow/Orange Color

Thanx Steve!

What is really interesting is how this large amount of quickly rising white smoke (heated aluminum oxide?) appears from the bottom of the building at the same time as the molten metal appears from the 80th or so floor, suggesting that demolition devices (conventional cutter charges, thermite devices, etc.) may have been activated simultaneously at, at least 2 different locations.

It seems at first that the cameraman takes notice of the rising smoke (panning downward and then to the left) and then later follows the molten metal flows downward.

dark yellowish stuff flowing from corner

I highly recommend to everyone watching any of these collapse videos on a large screen monitor. The amount of detail gained is amazing, one can really see the demo sequence quite clearly. This sudden large gathering of white smoke from the base was more than likely the vertical support collumns being melted, just like what was visible from the corner at the same time.
