I have no doubt that your story is absolutely correct. I remember, at the time, telling people that "This was 'a small, street-level, false-flag operation' - JUST LIKE 9/11 !!"

It confirms to any 'doubting Thomas' that ALL 3 MEN IN THE VIDEO WERE 'GOVERNMENT-CONTROLLED AGENTS-PROVOCATEURS'!!

As you can see in this item, 'controlled mass-media' such as CBC, & CTV, did NOT report THIS story; Instead they completely misrepresented the truth to each of their respective national (Canadian) audiences.

Controlled mass-media, & Canada's PM Stephen Harper, claimed that ' there were (merely) hundreds of protesters, but I, & two other witnesses there all day, estimated the numbers to be between 1600 & 2000.

[Ironically, the Union leader, & the political activist, Maude Barlow (Council of Canadians), in the video of 'agents-provocateurs', NEVER mentioned '911 Truth' - even once - throughout all of their very extensive speeches at the SPP !! '911 Truth' needs to educate the labor movement, & very many other 'political activists', about 911 truth, & the importance of communicating it, in turn, to the wider population.]

Danger for Truthers on 9/11/07!

This kind of tactic is not new. Anyone heading down to ground zero on 9/11/07 should be wary of this. There will be police or government agents in the crowd who may try and stir up trouble to try to discredit the movement. Imagine for a second if a rock was replaced with a gun and someone was injured or killed, what better way to discredit us and label us a bunch of gun crazed Truther terrorists.

Perhaps we should get our heads together and draw up some guidelines for people going to NYC on 9/11/07 so they can be better prepared for this threat.

Do you recall that the U.S. National Guard killed 3 students at Kent State University ? Crosby, Stills and Nash wrote a song called "Ohio". Their sacrifices are part of the reason that we left Vietnam. The Disc Jockeys at that time played the song which made it to the charts.
You won't be able to stop a covert operation but you can stand up to the people doing them and make them think about what they are doing.

Get your facts straight, John

While I agree the mass media are often negligent, it is important not to assume in paranoid broad strokes that they always omit or distort the truth.

Canadian media did report the allegations of police deception at Montebello.

This page at CTV's website contains multiple stories and video of the event.

Canada's "national newspaper," the Globe and Mail, also reported the incident.

CBC has a story about the opposition political parties demanding an investigation into the incident.

And there's more.

Going into a paranoid harangue about media complicity on every little thing, especially when it is undeserved, just makes us look like fringe-dwelling folks not worthy of a voice on important issues.

Shame on them.

This is a feeble and pathetic experiment in imposing police state tactics in a still healthy democracy. The perpetrators rightfully hung their heads in shame because they knew they were on the wrong side of justice, using deceit and force on elderly peaceful demonstrators who could have been their uncles and aunts. We need to appeal to law enforcement personnel everywhere to please examine your conscience when asked to engage in these types of activities and make the distinction between people who want to do harm (criminals) and those who are making a stand for Truth and Justice and Democracy and Freedom and all those Noble causes that are worth fighting and dying for.

You are setting your

You are setting your expectations to high. You want the Police to have a conscience. You are talking about people who do what they do with little or no regret. By their nature they are people who act w/o remorse. In the 60's they were all convinced we were communists and they beat us mercilusly with their clubs and batons. You speak of a peaceful demonstration we preached peace and they beat us, we responded with love and understanding and they beat us harder. Do not look to the Police for understanding or sympathy. you will find neither. I am not saying to provoke them, but do not expect them to even try to differentiate between those who came for trouble and those who just wish to seek truth.

I agree it is idealistic but it's not impossible and hope springs eternal in the human breast.
I have this vague concept/belief that it's about the prevailing Zeitgeist or paradigm and that the time may be nigh.
The idea of resolving our differences using force and violence or threats of force and violence belongs to the "tired old men we've elected kings" who's policies have failed and who are being exposed and disposed of in short order. (Rumsfeld, Libby, Wolfowitz etc. gone, and Bush and Cheney et al soon to be relegated to the dustbin of history.)
I realize that vague comment doesn't advance the cause of the Truth Revolution but it gives me hope:)
