Sorry, but from the video, it seems to me that he does not take a clear stand on 911. He just signed the petion for an independent investigation. He wants to know about the unanswered questions. It seems to me that he has not seen the proof that 911 was an inside job.

exactly lesage, because like you point out, hes-"one of the nation's leading progressive voices" and as such cant hurt his lucrative speaking fees by taking a real stand on the most important issue and most disgusting cover-up of our time. Parenti makes a lot of sense on many issues but like so many in his position is a total coward on 9/11. "yes, i'll take a new investigation". thats become the new way of "brushing off" 9/11 truthers. "im on your side, im for a new investigation, just dont ask me to be specific......"

Well c'mon, that's a helluva lot more than we get from most so-called progressives in the U.S.! It's a good start and anyone who wants a NEW (preferably international) investigation into 9/11 is cool in my book. Give credit where it's due!

I mean

judging from the way he is capable of going in depth on certain subjects, and provide hidden meanings, he is a man of talent. Like Ron Paul, he must take the time to look into the matter as to whether 911 was an inside job. To take a position, one way or another. For a man of that influence, it is a duty.
