Leahy willing to reinvestigate 911

Someone needs to get this info on the front page: Senator Leahy has been talking about a "Truth Commission." Many are concerned that this will be part of the "look forward, not back" desire of Obama, but he seems sincere in looking back AND PROSECUTING IF CRIMES ARE UNCOVERED.

Most importantly - he actually mentions the 911 Commission and the need to reinvestigate it. From Talking Points Memo http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/news/2009/02/sen_leahy_proposes_truth_p...

"We need to be able to read the page before we turn the page," Leahy said. "We need to come to a shared understanding of the failures of the recent past."

After the Sept. 11 attacks, the government created a 9/11 commission to examine failures within government antiterror efforts.

Leahy said that commission was hampered by a lack of cooperation from the administration, and he would like a new commission to have access to everything they needed.

He said he was offering the idea to see how much support it had.

LET'S GIVE HIM THE SUPPORT HE NEEDS TO "RE"INVESTIGATE 911!
