An Unholy Alliance

This remarkable Australian production made in 1995 has not been seen on a wide scale in North America. We have been given permission by Essential Viewing, (the latest incarnation of Aspire Films), to share this 1 hour documentary in a scaled-down internet version.
This video features rare footage of the Mujahadin, and explores the murky relationship between drugs, war, the CIA, the Mujahadin, Pakistan's ISI, and the general milieu which gave birth to "Al Qaeda".
This film also explores the heroin trade during the Vietnam war, and features rare interviews with Alfred W. McCoy, Michael Levine, and the late, great Dr. Eqbal Ahmad.
